Despite most pollinators known to be less flavourful, Boreal Beast stands out with its remarkable taste, beautiful aroma, and delightful aftertaste. Its thick, oval-shaped berries average 2 grams and ripen from mid to late July. Plus, its shrubs are very productive, yielding substantial fruit. Shrubs are compact and tidy and begin to produce fruit within 2 years after planting. Boreal Beast was released by the University of Saskatchewan.

Harnessing the bounty of nature, Haskap berries (also known as honeyberries) are a recently new and exceptionally wholesome fruit for North America, boasting extraordinary results in antioxidant and nutraceutical tests. Haskaps have a delectable flavour that blends a similar flavour between raspberry and blueberry. You can enjoy these berries fresh, or in jams, juices, wines, pies, smoothies, ice creams, fruit leathers or pastries to tantalize your taste buds with natural sweetness.

Known as a pollinator, Boreal Beast Haskap provides an extended flowering period appropriate to pollinate both the Boreal Blizzard and Boreal Beauty.
