The Green Elf is an old Cherry Plum developed by pioneer plant breeder A.J (Bert) Porter from Parkside, Saskatchewan.
Green Elf Cherry Plums have green skin and flesh averaging 3 cm (1") in size. Firm, semi-freestone and mild in flavour, they are great for fresh eating and also excellent for canning. They have a really nice flavour! Ripens in the middle of August and keeps well after harvesting.
