Grenville Plum

One of the largest plums we grow, Grenville Plums can get up to 5 to 6 cm (2 1/4") in size. These orangey-reddish-coloured plums are sweet, juicy and mildly flavoured. The Grenville Plum has clingstone flesh and is excellent to eat fresh off the tree. The plums ripen around early September and can be a heavy producer in some years.

Introduced in 1941 by the Horticultural Division of the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Ontario.
