This seedling of the Duchess of Oldenburg apple is a very productive tree providing sweet, juicy and crisp yellowish-green apples with a hint of spice. An old-time favourite that was popularly used in baking, sauces and preserves. Also good to use for fresh eating.

The Manitoba Apple typically measures 7 - 9 cm (3") in diameter and ripens in mid-September. It's also a decent keeper, storing up to 3 months in cold storage. Developed at the Morden Experimental Station in 1931.
