Trailman Applecrab
Trailman Applecrab
The prairie hardy Trailman is known as one of the best of the applecrabs, and we agree!
These egg-shaped, golden-fleshed apples are very juicy and crisp with a spicy sweet/tart flavour - simply delicious! Skin is golden overlaid with a reddish brown wash. Excellent for fresh eating and juicing. Local cider makers love using this applecrab! Don't be fooled by this applecrab, it is simply one of our personal favourites.
Stores for up to two months in cold storage and ripens in early September. Bears fruit at a young age. Released from Beaverlodge, Alberta in 1973.
