Boris Apple
Boris Apple
A favourite among fruit hobbyists in our local area, the Boris Apple, also known as the Edmonton Boris Apple, was discovered in an Edmonton backyard belonging to a gentleman named - you guessed it - Boris.
Boris Apples possess an ideal balance of sweetness, juiciness, aroma, and slight tartness, delivering an altogether delightful flavour. Excellent to eat fresh and used for processing, apples average 6 to 7 cm (2.5') in diameter. Ripens in early September and stores up to 2 months in cold storage. Beautifully striped colouration of various red hues with white flesh, that flushes pink once cut open.
We are excited to share this locally discovered unique apple!
